Offer Description

National and international applications are open by Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa (FCUL) for a period of 30 working days from the day after this notice's publication in Diário da República. The position is for 1 Full Professor in the area of Ecology, to be hired through a public administration contract, as per the faculty's teaching staff list.

• Holders of a Ph
  D obtained at least five years ago, including the title of Habilitation (Portuguese “Agregação”), in accordance with Article 40 of the ECDU.
• Candidates with a Ph
  D obtained abroad must have it recognized or registered as equivalent to a Portuguese university degree.
• If the degree recognition is pending, candidates must obtain it before submitting legal proof of eligibility to the faculty, under Decree-Law No. 66/2018, of August 16.
• Good command of Portuguese, both written and spoken.

Candidates will be evaluated based on absolute merit, considering:

• A scientific curriculum deemed valuable by the selection panel, research capacity, and teaching experience relevant to Ecology and appropriate for a Full Professor.
• An
  - index (Scopus) of at least 20.
• A minimum of 20 publications in journals ranked in Q1 of Scimago or ISI.

The curriculum assessment covers the period since January 1, 2010, except for the
- index and publications, which consider the entire career.
