1. Scientific field:Civil Engineering or similar field.
2. Admission Requirements: The candidates to the scientific research fellowship should preferably fulfil the following requirements:
- A master’s degree in the field of Civil Engineering or related fields;
 - Possess research experience in the field of the seismic behaviour of masonry structures and machine learning;
 - Have a good proficiency of the English language.

At the time of the respective hiring, candidates must prove that they are enrolled in one of the following courses:

Task 1: Definition of the experimental models and the test setup for Task 2, including preliminary numerical modeling of the experimental models using a Finite Element Method-based software.
Task 2: Execution of shake table tests with increasing seismic action and repeated tests for the same seismic amplitude, and results processing.
Task 3: Development of a machine learning tool for the assessment of the
-
- plane response of masonry buildings, based on the experimental results obtained in Task 2 and complemented by numerical results from calibrated numerical models, using the shake table test data.
