Summary
The Account Executive, SMB, is dedicated to driving sales and expanding the client base within the SMB segment. This role focuses on identifying potential clients, building relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of SMBs. Reporting to the Manager of SMB, this is a critical role in acquiring new business and ensuring client satisfaction, ultimately contributing to Deel’s growth objectives and commitment to delivering value to its clients.
Responsibilities
Represent and demonstrate the value of Deel to prospects and existing customers
Build and develop relationships with prospects and customers to create opportunities for cross‑and upselling
Research and qualify client requirements to seek new solutions and meet their needs
Work closely with our SDR team, strategizing and maintaining an accurate healthy pipeline
Ongoing communication and relationship building with internal stakeholders in Marketing, Customer Success and Senior Leadership
Ensure the CRM system is well maintained and updated
Attend industry events in person and build relationships in the HR Tech/Fin
Tech, Payroll ecosystem
Qualifications
Geographically based in EMEA.
Minimum of 3 years experience as an AE with SMB experience at a unicorn startup or tech company
Must have experience selling Saa
S technologies
Highly personable with great communication skills
Can break down complicated matters and explain them simply
Quick with numbers, and obsessive over delivering a world‑class service
Adaptable and comfortable with a fast‑paced environment
Fully proficient in English.
Extensive experience managing b2b clients and expanding the business footprint within MEA
