Account Manager - Industry Porto

Palex Portugal, a leading company in the management and distribution of innovative hospital and research solutions, is recruiting an Account Manager - Industry (Oporto/North Zone).

This position is specialized in Industrial Quality Control market clients (public and private) - laboratories dedicated to Research or Quality Control. This person will manage the entire Izasa Scientific by Palex portfolio.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage customers to introduce new products, identify needs, and propose solutions within the company's portfolio.
• Configure and budget scientific instruments to meet customer needs.
• Plan
  - scale sales operations within your territory.
• Assess the commercial potential of existing and new customers to adapt the company's actions.
• Coordinate company resources in sales operations to increase the likelihood of success.
• Maintain a business relationship with existing customers and create new relationships with potential customers.
• Identify new market opportunities for the company.
• Analyze the potential of the geographical area and adapt national business plans to the opportunities in the territory.
• Share valuable information with other members of the company about products, competition, or key accounts.
• Accompany customers on demonstrations or formal visits.
• Maintain and update the contact database.
• Participate in company meetings and propose new solutions for sectors of interest.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e. g. , Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or similar) is preferred;
• Previous experience in sales is preferred;
• Previous experience in the sector is valued
• Knowledge of English and Spanish (mandatory);
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong results orientation;
• A love of teamwork and proactivity;
• Driving licence.
