Palex Portugal, a leading company in the management and distribution of innovative hospital and research solutions, is recruiting an Account Manager - BU Analytical (Oporto/North Zone). This role will be dedicated to promoting and selling advanced analytical solutions, including chromatography, mass spectrometry, molecular and atomic spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance, among others, to customers in public and private sectors: research laboratories, quality control and diagnostics. Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the customer portfolio, presenting new products, identifying needs and proposing solutions appropriate to the company's portfolio. - Configure and prepare commercial proposals for scientific instruments tailored to each customer's requirements. - Plan and execute
- scale sales operations in the assigned territory. - Assess the commercial potential of current and prospective customers, defining appropriate approach strategies. - Coordinate internal resources (application specialists, service engineers, etc. ) to maximise business opportunities. - Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and develop new strategic contacts. - Identify emerging market opportunities and propose actions to enhance the company's presence. - Analyse the potential of the geographical area, aligning local business plans with the national strategy. - Share relevant information about products, competition and key accounts with the team. - Accompany customers in technical demonstrations. - Ensure regular updating of the database of contacts and commercial activities. - Participate in internal meetings and contribute ideas for new solutions in sectors of interest. Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Science or Chemical Engineering (or similar areas). - Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. - Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Experience in the sector is valued, as well as prior knowledge of analytical techniques and their applications. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong results orientation. - A love of teamwork and proactivity. - Driving licence.
