Our client is an American international company in the automotive sector, which is recruiting a Finance Manager for its facilities in Lisbon.

Job description:

1. Maintain and update the general ledger and other financial records in accordance with applicable GAAP or statutory standards.
2. Compile general ledger journal entries for manual input and/or uploads to SAP.
3. Reconcile general ledger accounts including cash, credit card
   - transit, and prepaid expenses.
4. Prepare and lodge regulatory returns for global entities including GST/VAT, payroll taxes, and fringe benefit returns.
5. Preparation of schedules in support of assets and liabilities and
   - on entries including depreciation, accruals, depreciation.
6. Assists in
   - end and
   - end close process, with a focus on timely completion of assigned tasks.
7. Assist in the preparation of schedules for the year end audit.
8. Collaborate with other members of the accounting.

Job Requirements:

- Degree in Accounting or similar (mandatory);

- 2 to 6 years' professional experience in similar roles (mandatory);

- Experience in a similar role in a multinational environment (mandatory);

- Knowledge of IFRS and/or USGAAP (mandatory);

- Fluency in English (mandatory);

- High organizational, time management and responsibility skills;

- Strong analytical and rigorous skills;

- Good communication and teamwork skills.
