The Role

We are seeking an experienced and
- on Financial Controller to take ownership of all financial operations across the Mixmove group. Based in Lisbon, you will oversee finance for the Portuguese subsidiary (our operational hub), the UK entity (holding contracts and clients), and the Norwegian holding company.

This is a key leadership role with clear progression to Finance Director. You will become the
- to person for financial control, strategy, and reporting across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Reporting

- Manage all
-
- day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow across all group entities.

- Own the monthly close process and prepare consolidated group accounts in line with local and group standards.

- Lead annual audits, liaising with external auditors and advisors in Portugal, the UK, and Norway.

Compliance & Controls

- Ensure compliance with all local statutory, tax, and financial obligations across Portugal, UK, and Norway.

- Maintain strong internal controls and implement best practices to ensure accuracy, transparency, and efficiency.

Strategic Finance

- Support strategic
- making by delivering clear, actionable financial insights to leadership.

- Model financial scenarios, analyse performance, and contribute to
- term planning and funding discussions.

Team & Tools

- Work closely with external accountants and payroll providers;



manage and optimiserelationships with banks and advisors.

- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline financial processes using appropriate tools.

Leadership Progression

- Step into a Finance Director role in the near future, taking broader strategic ownership and potentially building out a finance team as we scale.

About You

- Minimum 10 years' experience in financial accounting, with a strong track record of

- end finance ownership.

- Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).

- Fully qualified accountant (e. G. , CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).

- Solid experience in both local and international finance environments, ideally across Portugal and the UK.

- Strong grasp of group structures and consolidation, including working across multiple jurisdictions.

- Comfortable being

- Proactive, reliable, and capable of working independently with remote stakeholders.
