Key responsibilities

• Prepare complex journal entries, provide technical guidance, and ensure compliance with IFRS and Group Accounting policies.
• Coordinate and perform
  - end and
  - end closing activities in collaboration with local and global finance teams and in line with the group closing calendar.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of GL account reconciliations.
• Perform regular Balance Sheet Review, including trend/vs prior analysis and action plan definition.
• Prepare documentation and provide necessary financial data and support to external auditors during audits.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve desktop procedures and process documentation to ensure operational consistency and compliance.
• Identify opportunities for standardization and collaborate with the Process Owner in the design and implementation of continuous improvement solutions.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a shared service environment.
• College degree in Business Administration or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Advanced proficiency with SAP‑FI.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools (MS Outlook and Excel).
• Advanced English skills; one further European language is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Advanced critical thinking to analyze complex topics and implement solutions.
• Ability to respond to change with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new ways to accomplish work activities and objectives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to lead discussions with internal departments and external customers.
• Team player with a good sense of different company/country cultures.
