Accountant for Claims Management (f/m/x)

Salary Range: EUR 30, 000 - 42, 000

Job Description:

Webasto, one of the top 100 automotive suppliers worldwide, is committed to making individual mobility more enjoyable and sustainable through advancing technology and people. We are seeking an Accountant for Claims Management (f/m/x) to join our team in Lisbon.

Our Business Area Roof is the global leader in sunroofs, panoramic roofs, and convertible roofs, providing innovative solutions for electric mobility, autonomous driving, and solar energy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and review daily customer claims via portals and internal systems.
• Identify and classify deduction types such as quality issues, logistic errors, warranty concerns, and pricing discrepancies.
• Conduct investigations using SAP QM11 to verify claims' validity.
• Collaborate with Quality, Logistics, Sales, and Warranty departments to resolve complex deduction issues.
• Support the creation and posting of credit notes with the Controlling/Finance team.
• Ensure claims are properly documented and cleared for audit purposes.
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to facilitate communication and resolution.
• Follow up on open cases to ensure timely closure and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in claims management, customer service, or finance
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with SAP (especially QM11) and customer portals is preferred
• Strong analytical,
  - solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously with attention to detail
