We are looking for an Accountant (m/f/d) for our branch in Maia with immediate effect.

Responsibilities

• Performing basic office tasks, such as data entry and answering phones.
• Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues.
• Accounts receivable: Billing (prepare/issue invoices) and collections (follow up outstanding documents).
• Accounts payable: Billing (check purchase orders and book invoices/expenses).
• Payments: Follow up outstanding documents and prepare payment cycles.

Qualifications

• Accounting knowledge
• Understanding of logistics market dynamics (preferred)
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and be a problem solver
• Stress resistant and proactive
• Accurate and
  - oriented working style
• Hands-on mentality and team player
• Effective communication with customers and suppliers
• Professional written and verbal communication in English
• Additional languages welcome
• Strong PC skills (Windows, Microsoft Office), with focus on Excel
• Ability to work flexible hours
