Purpose of role:

providing the accounting support to the Finance Manager for MG Spain&Portugal

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be involved in providing the accounting support to the Finance Manager in the country, and learn about the Portuguese accounting system, including:

- AP and AR Accounting

- Account Reconciliations

- G/L entries, accruals and provisions

- Payments Preparation

- Customer AR Follow up and Debt Claim

- Customer & Vendor Master Card Maintenance

- Bank postings and reconciliations

- Tax Fillings – VAT – Intrastat – Withholding Taxes

- Internal and External Audit Support

- Invoice creating

- Other related accounting tasks

Qualifications

- Full time Portuguese work experience in the similar positions at least 2 years.

- Primavera user level is prefered.

- Familiar with the Portuguese accounting and taxation system.

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power
Point, etc. ).

- Fluent in English skills (oral and written).

- Able to work under pressure and on different tasks in parallel.
