Contract Accountant


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Accountant to join our team in Braga. As a Contract Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of our company on a contract basis. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with previous accounting experience looking for a flexible working arrangement.

Responsibilities:
- Manage

- day accounting operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Prepare financial statements and budgets
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Provide timely and accurate financial reports to senior management
- Collaborate with external auditors for
- end audits
- Monitor cash flow and make recommendations for improvement
- Handle tax filings and compliance with local regulations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Identify areas for cost reduction and implement strategies to achieve savings
- Communicate financial information to
- financial stakeholders in an easily understandable manner

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or equivalent certification preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Quick
Books, and other accounting software
- Ability to work independently on a contract basis

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Braga, Portugal.

Contract Terms:
This is a contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance. As a contract employee, you will not be eligible for company benefits. However, we offer flexible working hours that can accommodate your schedule as a student. Visa sponsorship is available for
