Junior Accountant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Braga. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the financial management of our company. This is a
- time position that requires previous experience in accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Monitor and reconcile bank statements
• Prepare tax returns and assist with tax planning
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding financial matters

Requirements

• Bachelor-'s degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e. g. Quickbooks)
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
