About The Role

We have an incredible opportunity for an Accountant to join our SDO team in Lisbon. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the

- day accounting and supporting the
- end and
- end closing processes. This position involves ensuring accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and collaborating with various stakeholders to facilitate a smooth closing process.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily general ledger tasks, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
• Review and post ad hoc journal entries for accuracy.
• Maintain SAP systems, including pricing lists and intercompany prices.
• Handle scheduling, posting, and reconciling recurring intercompany charges.
• Manage exchange rates, currency valuations, and
  - forward balances.
• Drive
  - end and
  - end closing processes, maintaining schedules and reconciliations.
• Produce financial statements and support data consolidation.
• Maintain documentation and support audits.
• Identify and correct errors in manual journal entries.
• Collaborate with Finance, AP, and AR teams to streamline workflows.
• Participate in training sessions and learnings.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant finance experience.
• Degree in a
  - related discipline.
• Knowledge of SAP S4 HANA, Excel, and financial reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with shared service center operations is a plus.
