Accountant
.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Maintain
  -
  - date and accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare and review key financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
• Monitor and analyse financial data, providing insights that support strategic decisions
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and internal controls
• Support VAT filings, tax returns, and statutory reporting
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth and timely financial processes
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Suggest and help implement process improvements to strengthen financial operations

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Solid experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in international or
  - paced environments
• Knowledge of local tax regulations and financial reporting requirements
• Experience with accounting software such as Primavera, Sage, or equivalent
• Strong Excel skills
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Attention to detail,
  - solving mindset, and strong organizational skills
• Team-oriented, but also confident working independently
• Registration with the Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados (OCC) is mandatory
