ABOUT THE ROLE:

We seek a highly skilled and
- oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role involves managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting accurate financial reporting mainly in Europe and the US. The Senior Accountant will maintain precise financial records and assist with various accounting tasks to support our organization’s financial health.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Participate in
   - end and
   - end closing, reconcile accounts, and analyze financial data for variances and trends.
2. Create and import journal entries.
3. Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, collaborating with other departments.
4. Perform reconciliations for intercompany transactions and general ledger accounts.
5. Support external audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
6. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, assist with VAT and corporate income tax.
7. Evaluate and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
8. Support special projects, financial analysis, and
   - hoc reports as needed.

ABOUT YOU:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or ACCA preferred.
• 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in telecommunications or related sectors.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS standards.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication skills for
  - functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with SAP and
  - specific accounting practices is a plus.
• Proficiency in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
