Mission of the Role

To ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of financial reporting and statutory obligations across the region. This role is pivotal in supporting monthly closing activities, maintaining robust financial controls, and driving process improvements through digital and AI tools.

- functional teams and leveraging technology, the position aims to enhance efficiency, ensure audit readiness, and uphold Visteon’s financial standards in a dynamic environment.

Key Accountabilities / How You Will Spend Your Days

• Support monthly financial closing activities and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Maintain statutory and tax compliance across jurisdictions.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and detailed account analysis.
• Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to SOX controls.
• Establish and maintain strong financial controls over all work performed.
• Leverage AI tools and digital solutions to improve efficiency and compliance accuracy.

Key Performance Indicators

• Timely completion of monthly close and reporting activities.
• Zero compliance breaches in statutory and tax obligations.
• Accurate reconciliations and audit readiness.
• Continuous improvement initiatives are implemented using digital tools.

• Gain a deep understanding of Visteon’s financial processes and compliance requirements.
• Build strong relationships with the Chief Accountant and

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Degree in Finance or Accounting;
  
  
• 2+ years of experience in Accounting, Audit, or similar roles (automotive industry experience is a plus).
• Fluent in English;
  
  knowledge of German is an advantage.
• Advanced MS Excel skills;
  
  familiarity with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical,
  - solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic,
  - paced environment.
