We are in constant transformation and looking for a
- motivated, proactive, and flexible Accounting Analyst to join our Accounting team in Lisbon.

What does the Accounting area do?

Manage the accounting closing of IBBA Europe and various entities of Itau Unibanco group, ensuring the reliability and timeliness of the information reported. Ensure that all financial information to be disclosed to the market and regulatory disclosure is reliable and accomplishes legal requirements. Supporting business growth, analysing from an accounting and tax point of view any new product or structure.

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Prepare: Accounting closing; Reports to Itaú Unibanco Holding; Assets & liabilities database reconciliation; Derivatives reconciliation; Securities portfolio reconciliation; execution of accounting/regulatory reports, according to the rules imposed by Regulatory Authorities. Information for Annual Report and accounting standards studies.
• Other: Control the daily process of accounting entries; Assure databases consistency of bank operations.

What are we looking for?

1) Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Finance / Audit or equivalent.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Management or another related field.

2) Skills

• Experience and knowledge in working with databases (data warehouse).
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in Portuguese and English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

3) Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of banking industry.
• Knowledge of international accounting standards.
