About The Role
Supports local accounting activities through collating invoices, supporting account reconciliations, and assists with
- end close processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collates invoices to check for accuracy, proper authorisation, and adherence to company policies.
- Supports the reconciliation of accounts and general ledger with other applicable records such as subsidiary, vendors’ ledger, and various accounting systems.
- Supports across all aspects of the
- end close, including consolidation of subsidiaries, intercompany account reconciliations, and foreign currency translations. - Executes cash balancing, revenue, expense, and other key transactional spreadsheet balancing processes to support the monthly close.
- Assists with
- annual and annual audits with documentation and workpapers, maintaining audit information on shared drive for future reference. - Tracks and maintains financial data to provide financial reports and forecasting revenue in preparation for variance analysis.
- Coordinates various financial reports in accordance with established requirements, meeting the due dates and deadlines.
- Ensures that reports are prepared in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAPs) and statutory accounting rules.
- Supports with
- hoc reporting, special projects, and analysis reports. - Assists with financial data entry and
- keeping to maintain accurate financial databases.
- Experience in local accounting support in a global professional services firm, preferably in the legal sector.
- Collates invoices to check for accuracy, proper authorisation, and adherence to company policies.
