ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT
As an Accounting Assistant at SOMAÍ, you will support the Finance Department by maintaining accurate financial records, verifying invoices, preparing
- related documentation, and assisting in reconciliations and financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and familiarity with ERP systems like SAGE X3. You’ll work closely with the Financial Director and contribute to ensuring compliance with legal and internal procedures in a
- paced, regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Properly enter and maintain accounting records, ensuring that it complies with defined criteria and legal regulations, with a special focus on the correct accounting of existing inventory
- Perform bank reconciliations and periodic validation of supplier account balances
- Collect invoices to verify accuracy, proper authorization and compliance with the company policies
- Support the preparation of various tax returns
- Support the verification of all accounts inherent to the Balance Sheet and Income Statement
- Ensure compliance with administrative procedures
- Direct assistance to the Financial Director
- Other responsibilities within the scope of their role
Requirements
- Training in Accounting, Administration or Finance
- Strong accounting knowledge
- Proven experience in the role, particularly in administrative and tax tasks
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of ERP SAGE X3
- Strong sense of responsibility and organization
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- Driver's license required
- Available immediatelly (preferred)
