We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our Finance team. This is an
- level role designed for someone eager to start a career in accounting and learn from experienced professionals.
Job Content
As Accounting Assistant, you will provide essential support to the Finance team, focusing on

- day bookkeeping and administrative tasks. You will work closely with our Accountants to ensure smooth and accurate

- day financial operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Processing incoming and outgoing invoices (accounts payable & receivable), payment matching
Preparing and registering payments
Supporting VAT registration by ensuring correct VAT coding and documentation
Maintaining accurate records in our accounting software
General administrative support for contracts and
- related documentation
Background
1–2 years of relevant accounting or administrative experience (internship experience also considered)
Basic but applied knowledge of accounting principles
Understanding of VAT principles is strongly preferred, if possible EU VAT principles
Familiarity with Exact Online or similar accounting software is a plus
Proficiency in Excel and willingness to learn digital tools
Able to communicate in English (both written and spoken)
