Job Description

The Accounting team is in charge of the correct accounting of financing and Treasury transactions in Natixis’ books globally. The team carries out controls in Finance tools, Customer Account Management Tool and Loan Management Systems to ensure that the transactions do not generate any rejections in Finance tools.

The Accounting controllers perform controls on accounts within the monthly accounting closings. They record manual entries to account transactions which are not managed in the LMS. They work closely with Back Officers and Middle Officers and assist them in the cash breaks reconciliation. They are implicated in the quarterly accounting closings.

Main tasks and goals:

• Reconcile, update, regularize and justify the suspense accounts;
• Monitor specific accounts (Imposta Tax, recoverable costs, cash deposit…);
• Produce statistics on suspenses;
• Monitor the
  - recurring expenses and income;
• Monitor the pending flows in the payments’ tool;
• Handle rejections in the Customer account management tool;
• Update new customers accounts opened;
• Anticipate RWA impacts – evaluate entries to be performed in back value after the end of quarter by the Back Office;
• Anticipate amounts to be provisioned and ensure its provisioning when necessary;
• Follow up of fees manually accounted (manual entries to pass following instructions received);
• Consultation of operations in all TSO management applications for analysis and justifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor / Master in Accounting;
• Financing Operations;
• Banking environment (1-3 years);
• Banking Accounting;
• Loan
  IQ(advanced knowledge);
• Microsoft 365 (advanced knowledge);
• Experience with Power BI (preferred);
• English (mandatory)and French (as a plus).

Early morning. Campo 24 de Agosto. In 4 minutes, you are clocking in at the office. After grabbing a cup of coffee and fresh fruit, pick up your laptop and choose your spot for the day. It's going to be a busy one: French class before lunch and, just after, quick medical appointment at Natixis doctor's office. Lunch break. Outside in the big terrace (look at your crops at the Urban Garden; ready to harvest!) or, if you feel like stretching your legs, walk downtown to grab lunch.

Back inside. Quick sprint review (working together anywhere means virtual happy birthday to that colleague in Paris that just turned 35). The afternoon went flying (tasks, reports, calls, some jokes with your teammates). End it on a high note: just one Play
Station game or the final match for that
- pong tournament.

Tomorrow, you complete that certified technical training and the day after, you will work from home, taking advantage to finally do that online course on Udemy. Once you are done with your tasks for the day, you can visit the office for a board games session or show up at the rehearsal of one of Natixis bands. If that is too steady for you, meet your colleagues to surf some waves or join them in a football match.
