What are the responsibilities?

We are recruiting an Accounting Specialist / Financial Controller for our Financial Governance department in the Lisbon Hub, overseeing 12 SL entities globally. You will be part of an international, dynamic team, acting as Accounting Topic Experts, supporting and advising the business on accounting treatments in their books & records.

• Provide guidance on complex IFRS transactions for SL Corporate Finance Accounting (HQ)
• Advise on project commercial assumptions, ensuring accurate project accounting
• Understand the business and associated risks impacting financial records
• Perform regular controls and support the creation of new reports for processes and risk mitigation
• Review financial statements for accuracy, integrity, and compliance
• Manage error reporting and mitigation measures

What do you need to qualify for this job?

• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance, or similar
• Fluent in English
• 2 years experience in auditing or multinational companies
• Good knowledge of SAP (not mandatory)
• Proficient in Excel
• Strong analytical,
  - solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a changing environment
