Your new Role:

As Accounting Team Lead, you will oversee and support components of the Purchase to Pay process and team to ensure efficient operations where suppliers are paid in time and the T&E process runs smoothly.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building, managing and motivating a team, while supporting development, career progression and setting/monitoring clear performance targets.
  • Ensuring SLAs are met or exceeded, and managing complex/escalated cases, including workload oversight and tactical performance improvements.
  • Supporting employee onboarding and training, conducting regular performance reviews and administering rewards.
  • Developing and documenting procedures and processes, acting as a subject matter expert and participating in project work when required.
  • Deputise for the department manager where required.
  • Handle and resolve vendor inquiries in a timely manner. Invoice and payment queries.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support efficient
    -
    - end accounts payable operations.
  • Validate and maintain the accuracy of vendor master data, including primary details.
  • Ensure that all R2R processes at the regional level are in adherence to accounting standards (GAAP/IAS) to achieve reliability and integrity of financial data.
  • Ensure that the R2R internal controls/SOX requirements are performed on time.
  • Preparation, review, and
    - off of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Develop, track, and maintain master data KPIs, including data accuracy, completeness, and turnaround time, to support performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
  • Provide input on the design of new processes that will enhance the efficiency and productivity of the R2R process.


What you will need to be successful:

  • 3 to 5 years’ combined experience in P2P & R2R function.
  • 2+ years’ experience in managing people.
  • Strong command of verbal and written English & Italian.
  • SAP knowledge.
  • Proactive, responsive and action‑oriented, with the ability to work in a constantly changing process environment and a strong focus on quality aligned with company values.
  • Strong people development, coaching and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with and influence all stakeholders while understanding business policies and procedures and their impact on business activity.
  • Ability to plan, manage and prioritise own and others’ workload, while collating, interrogating and managing data to create strategic direction based on data analysis.
  • Desire to progress within the organisation.
