Job Description
The At
R Specialist will be a key contributor in standing up At
R Operations in the Center. They will help to build a strong governance and relationships and establish a stable, effective, standardized and controlled At
R Process delivery to our ESS clients. Concurrently, Organon is implementing its Global ERP SAP S/4 Hana platform and the ESS Service Center At
R team will assume a core role in supporting this implementation.
Responsibilities
- Deliver services in accordance with agreed Service Level, Controls and Governance.
- Maintain professional and detailed process documentation such as global SOPs, Regional Work Instructions, etc. in coordination with the At
R Global Process Owner. - Perform period end activities such as creation/approval of manual journal entries, currency revaluation, Accrual engine, recurring entries.
- Global shared services knowledge is a plus.
- Balance sheet / P&L reconciliation in PBI tool.
- Support in the preparation of financial statements (Balance sheet / Income statement).
- Participate in internal and external audit and special projects.
- Mentor junior profiles within the team.
- Independently manage the workload and deadlines.
Profile Required
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field.
- More than 2 years of work experience in finance with a focus on
- end close (MEC). - Experience in shared services center environments preferred.
- Good knowledge of accounting standards US GAAP and company policies.
- Solid financial background with experience in accounting processes valued.
- Good project management skills, including ability to coordinate and implement complex cross‑functional activities.
- Experience using SAP R/3 required; experience with SAP S/4 HANA is a plus.
- Demonstrated strong math, query, analytical and systems skills; experience in data management and MS Office.
- Effective business writing and professional communication skills.
- Team player with coaching ability.
- Good analytical skills.
- Endurance and flexibility.
- Critical thinking.
- English is a must.
- Availability to travel.
