Accounts Payable Specialist in Porto

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days/week in the office)

What will you be doing?
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Accurately receiving, validating, and processing all invoices and expense documents.

- Making timely payments to suppliers and employees, closely monitoring payment terms to avoid delays and optimize cash flow.

- Managing and resolving any payment queries or discrepancies, working closely with Finance, Procurement, and HR teams to ensure prompt and effective solutions.

- Handling internal and external requests through our ticketing system, maintaining clear and timely communication with all stakeholders.

- Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, providing necessary reports and analysis to ensure account accuracy.

- Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes, proposing optimizations and automation ideas to enhance team efficiency.

What makes you a great fit?
Solid experience (at least 2 years) in Accounts Payable, Accounting, or Finance, preferably within a corporate or multinational environment.

Hands-on knowledge of ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) and digital financial workflow tools.

Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail to identify inconsistencies and interpret financial data critically.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proactive problem-solving attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow within the role.

Fluency in Portuguese and English (both written and spoken).
