Verisure (in Portugal known as Securitas Direct) is seeking a talented,
- on, and passionate Senior AP Accountant to strengthen our France-based Finance Team. The role will report to the Shared Services Center Manager and will be based in Lisbon.

In light of this growth, we aim to strengthen our Shared Services Center team and further develop the Accounting function. The Senior AP Accountant will be a key team member, playing a crucial role in achieving these objectives.

Responsibilities will include, among others:

• P2P process: receiving and processing invoices, ensuring communication with all stakeholders
• Point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
• Review and proper classification of cost center and accounts on POs
• Weekly and
  - end closing procedures, including aging reports
• Processing payments
• Assisting the manager and peers with daily activities
• Performing ad hoc accounts payable and procurement duties as required
• Reconciling AP accounts monthly
• Collaborating with local finance specialists on accounting, tax, and annual reports to ensure compliance with local legislation

Location

The position will be based in Lisbon, Portugal.

Reports and organization structure

This role reports hierarchically to the Shared Services Center Manager in Lisbon and functionally to the Head of AP team in Antony, Paris.

Experience and Qualifications

This role is critical for Verisure’s growth and organizational transformation, aiming for centralization and automation within the Shared Services Center. We seek a self-starter and high potential/top performer with a combination of Accounting knowledge and a proactive business mindset focused on value creation.

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business, with a deep understanding of financial concepts (qualified accountant preferred)
• Strong interest in Accounting
• Approximately 5 years of experience in accounting within an international environment
• Fluent in written and spoken French
