ABOUT THE ROLE:

Highly motivated
- oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to be part of our Accounts Payable team, the candidate must have 3+ years of accounts payable experience, as well as general ledger understanding with account reconciliation experience. Applicant must be extremely accurate and detail oriented plus be able to work both independently and as a team player. Experience with SAP and Foreign currency is a plus. The position is based in our Lisbon, Portugal office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage incoming emails into the accounts payable email boxes.
• Process, code, verify and enter all the Accounts Payable invoices on a daily basis for our i
  Basis entities.
• Notify our Carrier Settlement department on all invoices that need additional review based on internal controls and procedures.
• File all invoices into the internal archiving system
• Voucher the monthly declaration statements and review all open purchase orders to ensure all are posted. Investigate any missing invoice PDFs.
• Reply to all internal and external requests received in a timely manner.
• Identify opportunities to enhance/streamline business processes
• Work closely with the Accounts Payable team in the USA
• Assist with multiple audit requests
• Assist in special projects as needed

YOU’LL BRING:

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience with SAP preferred but not required
• Fluency in English is a must
• Knowledge of accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Must be extremely accurate and detail oriented
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent organizational and research skills.
