- driven investment firm with a global footprint. Due to continued expansion into Europe, they are now seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join its collaborative and
- performing team in Lisbon.

The Accounts Payable Manager will take responsibility for the following:

Day-to-day ownership of the accounts payable function across multiple legal entities

Manage the finance team inbox and act as the first point of contact for invoice and expense queries

Accurately process supplier invoices in line with internal controls and finance policies

Oversee invoice approvals and maintain an

- date accounts payable ledger

Prepare and execute payments via the banking portal, ensuring approvals are in place

Monitor bank transactions daily and reconcile bank accounts within the accounting system

Process staff and partner expenses, ensuring compliance with policy

Support ad hoc reporting and regulatory requirements (e. g. supplier payment practices)

Assist with treasury admin and journal postings as needed

The successful Accounts Payable Manager will meet the following criteria:

Minimum 5 years' experience in Accounts Payable, ideally within financial services or an international firm

Naturally organised and able to prioritise work in a
- driven environment

Confident handling financial systems (experience with Sage Intacct a bonus, but not essential)

Proactive mindset and able to spot and escalate issues when necessary

Comfortable communicating with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers

Excellent attention to detail, with a
- solving attitude and strong analytical skills

Fluent in both English and Portuguese
