We are looking for an Accounts Payable to join our
- opening team at Andaz Lisbon.

Expected to open in Q3 2025, Andaz Lisbon will offer guests an exciting new luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital. It will be a key milestone in Hyatt’s continued brand growth in Southern Europe, and the second Hyatt-branded hotel in Lisbon. Located in the bustling Baixa district along Rua Augusta, the hotel comprises five buildings, including the former Banco Português de Investimento (BPI) offices. The hotel will feature 170 guestrooms and private suites across these buildings, offering an authentic Lisbon experience.

We are seeking a talented and passionate Accounts Payable professional to join our
- opening team at Andaz Lisbon.

Responsibilities

1. Process and review invoices to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
2. Verify vendor account details, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
3. Enter and post invoices using the accounts payable system.
4. Prepare and issue payments via checks, ACH transfers, and other methods.
5. Maintain records of all payables transactions.
6. Ensure proper documentation for payments and obtain necessary approvals.
7. Assist in
   - end and
   - end closing processes to ensure timely recording and payment of invoices.
8. Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve issues related to payments, discrepancies, or account balances.
9. Maintain and update vendor files and contract information.
10. Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in accounts payable or a related finance role.
2. Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
3. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Strong organizational and
   - management skills.
6. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
7. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Working in a luxury hotel environment is dynamic and

- oriented approach to ensure smooth financial operations. This role is vital for maintaining the hotel’s financial health and efficient vendor transactions.
