Position Overview:

The Accounts Payable Supervisor will lead a team of finance professionals, overseeing daily activities and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies. This role involves preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, while contributing to process improvement initiatives. Coaching and developing team members to enhance their skills and contribute to the success of the finance department is also key.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Manage team assignments based on objectives and processes.
2. Administer company policies affecting employees and global processes.
3. Recommend process improvements.
4. Monitor and control section costs.
5. Analyze data to resolve issues.
6. Interpret and define procedures and policies.
7. Develop and manage work plans to ensure timely payments and project results.
8. Achieve targets against monthly plans.
9. Communicate with supervisors and peer groups, explaining information clearly.
10. Manage team effectively.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Preferred: CMA or CPA certification.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a Shared Services environment.
• Strong knowledge of

  - end accounts payable processes.
• Experience with continuous improvement and Lean methodology.
• Ability to motivate and inspire team performance.
• Strategic thinking and knowledge of accounts payable best practices.
• Experience with projects, migrations, robotics/automation, and global finance practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with U. S. 1099 and Canada T4A filings.
• General Accounting and SOX compliance experience.
• Familiarity with JDE/Prism, Concur, SAP, Blackline.
