The Activities Manager plays a key role in delivering and continuously enhancing this essential part of our students’ school experience.

To join our team, we are looking for a
- qualified and talented ECA Officer who is passionate about student care and education.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage the Activities Department, overseeing all extracurricular, enrichment, school bus routes, school trips and holiday camp programmes.
- Develop and manage the annual activities budget and pricing, in collaboration with Heads of School, CFO, and CEO for the three Pa
RK IS campuses. - Produce regular termly reports, including enrollment, attendance, and financial summaries.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement a
- quality schedule of ECAs, academic trips, holiday camps, and other enrichment activities across 3 Pa
RK IS campuses. - Liaise regularly with the Heads of School to ensure activities run smoothly and align with school priorities, taking into account the use of space, and the needs of parents, students, and staff.
- Monitor enrollments and attendance, resolving issues such as absences and
- up sessions. - Actively gather feedback from students, parents, and staff to ensure a varied and engaging extracurricular offering.
- Organise promotional activities, including demonstrations and trial classes, to boost participation and visibility.
- Recruit, train, and support extracurricular providers and staff to maintain high standards across all offerings.
- Manage and process payments to vendors, ensuring timely invoicing, accuracy, and alignment with the approved budget.
- Conduct regular audits of activities to ensure alignment with school values and educational quality with Quality Assurance employee.
- Oversee the planning and delivery of summer camps.
- Ensure that all documents, policies, and procedures, especially those related to risk assessments and safeguarding, are robust, current, and compliant.
- Oversee the Trips Officer in the planning of academic trip (coordinate with hotels, transport providers, and venues to deliver smooth and enriching trip experiences).
- Organize and manange the school bus routes and enrolments.
- Prepare and manage communication materials related to activities.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Fluent in both Portuguese and English (spoken and written)
- Energetic, proactive, and
- oriented - A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong digital literacy, particularly in Excel and Airtable (experience with SOCS and i
SAMS is a distinct advantage) - Committed to continuous improvement and innovation
- Experienced in managing programmes involving children or young people (school-based or equivalent settings)
- Strong team spirit and the ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders
