Actuarial Analyst - Uk Pensions Market
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Consulting Support team at Mercer. This role will be based in Lisbon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Our responsibilities include supporting the lead consultant in identifying and addressing client’s needs, solving and replying to client’s queries, drafting communications, amongst other more technical and complex requests.
A critical success factor for our team is maintaining constant communication with a diverse range of colleagues, from junior analysts to senior consultants at Mercer. While strong communication skills are essential, the role also requires critical thinking and meticulous attention to detail.
We will count on you to:
- Engage in data and risk analysis.
- Produce reports.
- Collaborate with client and project teams.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects to the required high standards.
What you need to have:
- A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively across different cultures.
- Strong
- building skills with colleagues. - Capacity to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a demanding work environment.
- Strong
- solving skills with the ability to identify and propose solutions. - Aptitude for meticulous work and attention to detail.
- Intermediate to advanced (B2 or C level) proficiency in English.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and assertively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power
Point.
