What You'll Do
In 2024, a new BCG hub was opened in Lisbon. This hub is evolving into a dynamic environment hosting Business Services Teams serving BCG colleagues in the region and beyond. We are looking for a driven Administrative Assistant (AA) who can work with limited direction to provide administrative support from this hub. You will be a master of tasks, but we also need critical thinkers and problem solvers who go beyond transactional support. Day-to-day responsibilities will vary depending on stakeholder needs and tenure.
As an Administrative Assistant in the Lisbon Hub, you will have a unique experience in a

Administrative Assistants are expected to grow throughout their careers at BCG, building and improving their skills to meet evolving needs of the firm, leaders, and clients. You will have the opportunity to define your career path based on your skills, interests, and the needs of the business.
YOU’RE GOOD AT:
Providing proactive support to senior BCG CT and BST leaders in a
- paced client service environment. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Organizing and scheduling client/internal meetings and events with awareness of business priorities; proactively managing complex calendars
- Anticipating and coordinating travel needs, including booking hotels and transportation
- Processing timesheets and expenses in a timely manner
- Proactively anticipating and solving problems before they arise
- Maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information
Proactively supporting
- leverage activities for executives and their case teams (varying by stakeholder needs):
- Active support of business development efforts
- Conducting research and gathering information to help problem solve questions
- Assisting with preparation and proofreading of client team materials, including slides, proposals, and onboarding decks
- Engaging in creative problem solving as needed
- Acting as a thought partner and trusted advisor to stakeholders’ teams
- Ensuring stakeholders have the information they need to succeed with external and internal clients
- Enabling stakeholders to make the best use of their time
- Taking initiative to bring
- dos or priorities from back burner to front burner
Building effective working relationships with key stakeholders and peers to achieve goals. This will be crucial to your success at BCG.
- Partnering with other AAs to schedule complex meetings and events; many peers support stakeholders who work closely with yours
- Building relationships across the office with other internal teams (e. g. , HR, IT, Office Services) as the footprint grows
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- 2+ years of experience in professional services or multinational companies
- Fluency in English and Italian
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Power
Point, Word, Excel) - Curiosity and ability to understand the big picture; independently ask questions to prioritize and judge daily activities
- Insight and willingness to take ownership to reach strong answers; openness to feedback
- Teamwork and ability to build connections across stakeholders; strong customer service mindset
- Execution: organized,
- oriented, and committed to delivering quality work
