Responsibilities
Our Trust & Safety team's commitment is to keep our online community safe. We have invested heavily in human and
- based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.
QA ownership: take ownership of the quality success of internal or external stakeholders, identify and clear blockers to high performance, support their team in the drive for excellence, monitor performance, and provide crucial reporting to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with XFN teams to identify project needs, navigate ambiguous situations, and set clear SMART goals for themselves and the teams.
Identify and suggest process improvements and help develop a
- practice methodology for the QA role.
Interact with content types including images, video, and text related to everyday life, including potentially sensitive material (bullying, hate speech, child safety, depictions of harm, and harms to animals).
Occasional backfilling of gaps in market support and support for onboarding training SOPs and materials, as well as legacy planning.
What will I be doing
Work independently and with stakeholders to deliver high performance standards across projects and develop a
- practice model for maintaining high performance.
Facilitate regular calibration meetings with stakeholders to maintain knowledge and quality standards;
provide feedback on implementation and execution.
Coordinate with Policy POC to disseminate policy updates and facilitate timely communication of policy questions among internal and external stakeholders.
Perform daily audits and provide analysis of errors and feedback to respective teams.
Compile and deliver regular performance data reports to
- matter experts and management.
Conduct regular RCA escalations through the relevant process.
Identify and assess areas for performance improvement across relevant markets;
be proactive in delivering solutions.
Participate in or lead policy briefings to ensure changes align with local cultural,
- economic, geographical and political conditions.
Balance efficient task delivery in queues using platforms such as TCS or Rock Appeal.
Support or backfill temporary gaps in market support.
Support the internal onboarding team to develop onboarding training materials and ongoing legacy planning.
Perform regular queue moderation or participate in knowledge quizzes to maintain policy implementation skills.
Help design and implement a training plan according to the timeline.
Note: This position involves exposure to sensitive content, including vulgar content, violence, pornography, and fake news.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year QA or relevant experience in trust and safety or policy in a major tech or media company.
Strong understanding of business needs, strategic thinking, and ability to make decisions in complex situations.
Familiar with labeling processes and the upstream/downstream working modes.
Fluent in Brazilian Portuguese;
must be able to communicate with Brazilian Portuguese markets;
working language is Brazilian Portuguese.
Comfortable reporting to or collaborating with a broad range of
- functional partners.
Fast learner capable of thriving in a
- paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the short video product/user industry.
Experience in Content Moderation/Content Quality/Content Safety/Labeling is an asset.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (PPT, Excel, Word).
Familiarity with machine learning and content understanding.
Solid presentation and communication skills.
