About the team
The Advertising team is central to the growth of Web Summit events. We deliver innovative, creative campaigns across multiple ad platforms, educating and inspiring new and potential attendees, startups, and partners from around the world. Over the years, we've developed a
- led approach to advertising, one that has helped us grow from 400 attendees in 2010 to over 150, 000 in 2024.
What you'll achieve at Web Summit
- You’ll be driving traffic and conversions through advertising on our paid media channels, with a strong focus on Meta, Linked
In, and Google. - You’ll analyze data, produce reports, and optimize campaigns accordingly.
- You’ll collaborate with the Data Science team to create and implement new and disruptive solutions to advertising.
- You’ll work with the Growth and Email Marketing teams to integrate campaign strategies and deliver consistent messaging globally.
- You’ll coordinate with startup and partner teams to plan and implement campaigns across all attendee types.
- You’ll learn the importance of A/B testing and its influence on team decisions.
- Your ideas and insights will be valued and heard.
Who you are
- You have 5+ years of performance marketing experience.
- You have a focus on paid media management and content marketing.
- You are a creative individual, not just an advertiser.
- You are curious and eager to experiment with new ideas.
- You are
- driven and comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets. - You are inspired by technology and innovation, staying updated on trends in tech and marketing.
Skills and abilities we're looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or relevant experience.
- Deep understanding of paid media platforms, including Meta, Google, and Linked
In, with experience in other social channels. - Proven success in lead generation and campaign optimization.
- Strong background in B2B marketing, especially in
- paced or
- growth environments. - Ability to interpret performance metrics and use data to inform decisions.
- Strategic thinker who values autonomy but works well in a team.
- Adaptability to a dynamic business environment.
- Passion for the tech industry and digital marketing.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
