AEM Architect
Job Description
Merkle, a dentsu company, is seeking an experienced AEM Architect to oversee the development of complex web applications delivering great user experience and
- channel strategies based on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS). The role involves technical leadership, architectural decisions, and translating business requirements into scalable solutions.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience with the AEM framework and the Adobe Experience Cloud.
- Very good knowledge of current web technologies (Java/J2EE) and frameworks such as Spring.
- Experience with AEM technologies (Apache Sling, Sling models, HTL/Sightly).
- Knowledge of SQL, Apache Jackrabbit Oak, Web Services (SOA), XML, XSL, Java
Script, HTML, AJAX. - Experience with Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS), including Content Fragments integration, Graph
QL API usage and optimization, EDS architecture across various content sources,
- site management capabilities. - Knowledge of CDN strategies and Adobe Edge
Workers. - Good understanding of SEO best practices in the context of EDS and AEM.
- Experience with other Java-based CMS solutions such as Magnolia is a plus.
- Expertise in software architecture and technical design.
- Ability to drive architectural decisions, technology evaluations, and proof of concepts (Po
Cs) for client use cases and translate complex business requirements into scalable AEM and Adobe Experience Cloud solutions. - University or college degree in computer science or business computer science is a plus.
- Ability to provide technical leadership to development teams, including code reviews, mentorship, and guidance on scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong personal initiative and willingness to learn.
