About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with AEM (on‑premise or AEM as a Cloud Service) and will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise‑level digital experiences. This position requires strong back‑end and front‑end development skills, as well as a deep understanding of CMS architecture and digital marketing best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high‑performing AEM websites, templates, components, and workflows.
• Customize and extend AEM modules, services, and integrations to meet business requirements.
• Build and optimize AEM dispatcher configurations for performance, caching, and security.
• Develop and integrate APIs with third‑party systems (e. g. , DAM, CRM, marketing automation, e‑commerce).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including UX / UI designers, project managers, and QA engineers to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure maintainable, scalable code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AEM platform performance, content authoring, and integrations.
• Maintain and improve CI / CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
• Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise security standards, accessibility guidelines, and SEO best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of development experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6. 4+ or AEM as a Cloud Service).
• Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, OSGi, Sling, and JCR repository architecture.
• Experience in developing custom AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, and services.
• Proficiency in front‑end technologies : HTML5, CSS3, Java
  Script (ES6+), and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
• Knowledge of AEM Dispatcher, caching strategies, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Adobe APIs and integrations (Assets, Target, Analytics, Campaign).
• Experience with version control systems (e. g. , Git).
• Understanding of CI / CD tools and practices (e. g. , Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex AEM issues.
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs for integrations.
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development methodologies.
• Adobe Certified Expert – AEM Developer (or higher) certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of Adobe Marketing Cloud ecosystem (Target, Analytics, Campaign, Launch).
• Familiarity with headless CMS approaches and Graph
  QL APIs in AEM.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, Solr, or other search indexing technologies.
• Exposure to personalization, content targeting, and multilingual / multisite implementations.
• Previous experience mentoring junior developers or leading development teams.
