What are we looking for?
To reinforce our Technology team at the Energy Systems Automation Unit, we are looking for a After Sales Engineer, to integrate our Maia or Oeiras Site.
Mission:
- Support for maintenance/support contracts with the client during warranty periods;
- Troubleshooting of products and systems related to Smart Grid, control and protection systems;
- Define and prepare the scope of work with the client and Efacec Project Manager;
- Define and approve the System Project;
- Coordinate the tasks of the team (internal and/or subcontracted) (configuration, software installation, internal testing, FAT, SAT, commissioning, training, preventive and corrective maintenance);
- Manage improvements and corrections with the client and R&D and help overcome any obstacles faced by the team in order to improve productivity;
- Support and suggest improvements to processes and methods within the team that can facilitate innovation and change;
- Ensure compliance with the quality, budget, and deadlines previously defined;
- Prepare reports on the status of the projects to be shared with management and/or clients.
Profile:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering – Energy or Automation field;
- Knowledge of Electrical Power Systems;
- Other skills:
- Control and Protection Systems;
- Communication protocols (IEC104, IEC101, DNP, ICCP, IEC 61850);
- IEC 61131-3 Programming;
- Database;
- Microsoft Office;
- Interpretation of electrical schematics;
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, proficiency in English (required), French (preferred), and Spanish (preferred).

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to reinforce the R&D team of the Transformers Business Unit, located in the Arroteia Site, Matosinhos.
Mission:
- Provide technical support in the different electrical sizing activities included in the PRR projects;
- Design, analyze, develop, validate and implement innovative design solutions following international standards and/or product specifications for high voltage applications;
- Carry out multiphysics modeling of the product to evaluate alternatives and accelerate the introduction of innovative solutions into the product/system;
- Use finite element simulation software to replicate complex physical phenomena;
- Keep documentation up to date and support the implementation of technical solutions;
- Develop new (or evolve current) engineering calculation software tools;
- Carry out experimental tests with a view to validating and measuring theoretical models.
Profile:
- Higher Education in Electrical Engineering or similar areas;
- Knowledge of electrical machines and simulation of electrical circuits, using tools such as Ansys, Micro
CAP, LTSpice, among others; - Skill in programming languages such as C#, C++, VBA, Python, …;
- Passionate about science and technology, with excellent analytical skills;
- Exemplary personal organization and efficient time management;
- Independence in carrying out tasks with the ability to work in a team;

We are looking for an Mechanical Engineer to reinforce the Technology team of the Switchgear Business Unit, located in the Arroteia Hub, Matosinhos.
Mission:
Development of medium and high voltage equipment;
Specify and develop medium and high voltage switchgear solutions;
Develop studies to support development in CAE tools and the design and technical drawing of solutions in CAD tools;
Support and monitor the manufacture and assembly of prototypes and define and monitor research and validation tests of solutions, both in internal laboratories and external laboratories;
Support the industrialization phase of the new product.
Profile:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering;
