Job Summary

The AI & Automation Enablement Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying intelligent automation solutions across Allia Health Group. Reporting to Senior/Principal AI Engineers and later to the Director of AI & Automation, this role focuses on enabling business teams with AI-driven process automation, workflow orchestration, and
- based solutions. The successful candidate will bridge technical execution with business enablement, ensuring scalable and impactful adoption of AI and automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy automation solutions using Ui
  Path, N8N, and similar tools.
• Build AI-enabled workflows leveraging Google Cloud's Vertex AI and other modern AI platforms.
• Partner with data and product teams to identify automation opportunities that improve efficiency and reduce operational overhead.
• Integrate automation into business processes, ensuring reliability, maintainability, and security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical automation designs.
• Implement monitoring, error handling, and reporting for automation systems.
• Contribute to the standardization and best practices for AI & automation enablement across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Ideal Degree(s): BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field
• Experience: 2–4 years in AI/automation engineering roles
• Must-Have:
• Strong experience with automation platforms (Ui
  Path, N8N, or equivalent)
• Proficiency in Python or another scripting language for automation and integration tasks
• Familiarity with cloud services (Google Cloud preferred;
  
  AWS/Azure acceptable)
• Hands-on experience integrating APIs and building workflow orchestration solutions
• Understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and structured/unstructured data handling
• Basic knowledge of MLOps practices and deploying AI models into automation workflows
• Strong
  - solving skills and ability to collaborate with business stakeholders

• Working in Madeira in a shared office space, remote in Portugal, or remote in a Portuguese

• Flexibility to shift portions of the day to increase timezone overlap with US CST timezone.
