The person in this role will be responsible for implementing AI processes and tools within other Design
Rush teams, as well as being responsible for the growth of Design
Rush products, including planning, estimation, prioritization, and execution of necessary projects and tasks.

Design
Rush is seeking to make IMMEDIATE hires.
Goals:
Transition all core workflows to AI-powered processes to reduce delivery time by 50–75%.
Design and launch AI features that enhance the Design
Rush user experience.
Continuously monitor, optimize, and expand AI-driven solutions across all departments.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in software development, preferably with PHP, Python, Java
Script, and Laravel.
1+ year working with AI agents, orchestration frameworks, and
- step workflows.
Proven track record of launching
- ready AI tools (e. g. , chatbots, content generation platforms, automation agents).
Strong project and product management skills, including spec writing, timeline estimation, and task prioritization.
Demonstrated ability to upskill technical teams by creating and implementing AI training processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Hands-on experience with AI model integration and orchestration frameworks such as: Models & API ( Open
AI GPT-4. 1, Claude Opus 4/Sonnet 4, Gemini 2. 5, Grok 4), Frameworks & Tools ( Lang
Chain, Lang
Graph, Crew
AI, Autogen, Langflow), Dev Tools & Environments ( Cursor, VS Code, Git
Lab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Linux).
Proficiency across the technical stack: Backend ( Java 17 (Spring Boot – REST/Web
Flux), Node. js (as needed)), Frontend ( React/Next. js, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui), Data Layer ( Postgre
SQL, My
SQL, Mongo
DB, Redis, Elasticsearch, S3/Min
IO), Cloud & Ops ( AWS (ECS, Lambda, SQS), GCP, Azure, Nginx/Apache, systems, Grafana/Prometheus for observability)
Must have shipped at least one production system involving complex
- agent workflows (beyond CRUD-level architecture).
Ability to provide architecture documentation or repository samples that showcase relevant experience.
Comfortable working 6 AM – 3 PM EST.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage
- wide AI initiatives from planning to deployment
Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI agent workflows
Prototype and launch AI-powered tools, including bots, automation systems, and intelligent content generators
Implement and orchestrate AI solutions using modern frameworks and direct API integrations
Conduct prompt engineering and optimize existing AI codebases and pipelines
Define and maintain product specifications and technical documentation for AI features
Oversee project timelines and ensure the successful delivery of AI-related development tasks
Drive
- functional collaboration by tailoring AI workflows for SEO, content, sales, and operations teams
Establish and enforce best practices in AI development, testing, and deployment
Educate internal teams on AI capabilities and support adoption across departments
Monitor performance metrics and report on productivity gains and ROI from AI adoption
Ensure AI systems comply with relevant data protection regulations and internal standards
The ideal candidate must be a proactive and independent thinker who can take ownership of the tasks at hand and ensure timely & quality output through collaboration with other team members.
