Media Portugal is seeking an AI Developer to join our Engineering Team. Core
Media, a global leader since 1996, is a leading provider of a Digital Experience Platform, combining Content Cloud with Marketing Cloud and Cloud Contact Center solutions to enhance customer interaction through
- time personalization, optimization, and conversational experiences enriched with AI.

Our Engineering team builds the next generation of Core
Media Experience Platform and optimizes a highly scalable system’s architecture. Our platform supports business operations for some of the world’s largest retailers, banks, and telecoms companies, handling more than 13. 000 million pageviews and 12 million calls per year, so high availability is key.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-driven solutions using LLMs including GPT, Claude, Gemini, and LLa
  MA.
• Build and maintain RAG pipelines with integration to a vector database for semantic search and retrieval.
• Design and manage workflows using Lang
  Chain, Lang
  Graph, and Lang
  Smith.
• Apply Model Context Protocol (MCP) for structured and reusable prompt engineering.
• Develop backend services primarily in PHP (preferred), or alternatively in Python or Java.
• Design, consume, and maintain RESTful and external APIs, ensuring secure and efficient integrations.
• Deploy and operate AI services across AWS, Azure, or
  - prem infrastructure as required.
• Monitor, evaluate, and optimize LLM usage and performance in
  - world applications.

Key Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in AI, NLP, or LLM-based applications.
• 3+ years of experience with API development and consumption (REST, JSON, OAuth, etc. ).
• Hands-on experience with at least one major LLM: GPT, Claude, Gemini, or LLa
  MA.
• Practical experience with RAG architecture and vector databases (e. g. , Chroma
  DB, Pinecone, Weaviate).
• Strong backend development skills, preferably in PHP (alternatively Python or Java or Type
  Script).
• Familiarity with Lang
  Chain, Lang
  Graph, and Lang
  Smith.
• Understanding of MCP (Model Context Protocol) and structured prompt design.
• Experience deploying and operating AI systems on AWS, Azure, or
  - prem environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience mentoring or leading other engineers (not required but a plus).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e. g. , Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with
  - source LLM frameworks or
  - tuning custom models.
• Experience integrating
  -
  - text (STT) and
  -
  - speech (TTS) engines (e. g. , Whisper, Amazon Polly, Google Speech, Azure Speech).
• Exposure to Dev
  Ops, CI/CD pipelines, or MLOps platforms.
