Senior AI Engineer – Remote (Portugal)

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join our team. This Engineer will lead the development and deployment of generative AI solutions in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Gen
  AI solutions.
• Deliver autonomous Gen
  AI applications (Open
  AI, AI Search) and implement AI/ML workflows for business applications.
• Prepare data and develop prototype projects from concept to production, including planning, architecture, and solution validation.
• Integrate external APIs, Microsoft 365 services (Graph API, Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse).
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure reliable and scalable AI infrastructure.

Requirements

• +5 years of experience in Machine Learning, Generative AI, or related fields.
• Experience implementing Gen
  AI solutions, LLMs (GPT‑4o, O3).
• Experience with Azure AI Services for TTS, STT, OCR, embeddings, and data processing.
• Backend API development experience, particularly with Fast
  API.
• Dev
  Ops and MLOps practices, including Docker, CI/CD, Azure Container Registry, and secrets management (Azure Key Vault, Git
  Hub, Hashi
  Corp Vault).
• Azure Cloud services: Functions, Logic Apps, Open
  AI Service, AI Search/Foundry, Data Factory, Databricks, Blob Storage, Cosmos
  DB, and Application Insights.
• Knowledge of Gemini 2. 5 Pro and Claude 3. 7 Sonnet; Microsoft Copilot applications, Gen grounding, RAG setup, vector search integration.
• API integration, REST calls, OAuth 2. 0, Azure AD, and token‑based authentication.
