The Role

We’re looking for an AI Engineer to lead and own our AI stack — from research to production. You will architect and build our clinical reasoning engine, combining local LLMs, retrieval pipelines, and structured medical data to produce medically sound insights.

You’ll collaborate closely with our engineering and quality teams to ensure our AI supports safe, transparent, and
- based medical decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and build the AI reasoning pipeline for clinical case interpretation.
• Develop and
  - tune local LLMs for clinical dialogue and reasoning tasks.
• Implement a RAG system that retrieves similar patient cases (via a vector database) and contextualizes them for current interpretations.
• Integrate knowledge bases (guidelines, conditions, specialties) into the reasoning stack.
• Work with medical experts to validate and improve model performance and interpretability.
• Optimize models for on‑premise inference, privacy, and performance.
• Define the evaluation metrics and safety frameworks for clinical‑grade AI reasoning.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning / NLP, with a strong focus on LLMs.
• Proven experience building retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) or hybrid reasoning systems.
• Proficiency in Python, Py
  Torch, Lang
  Chain, and vector databases (FAISS, Milvus, Weaviate, Pinecone, etc. ).
• Experience deploying local or on‑premise AI models.
• Familiarity with medical data (blood tests, clinical text, EMR/EHRs) and data privacy frameworks.
• Strong understanding of embeddings, knowledge retrieval, and explainable AI.
• Bonus: Experience with clinical NLP, biomedical LLMs, or FHIR integration.
