The AI Team

Sword’s AI team operates at the intersection of Machine Learning (ML) and software development, working on projects like decision support systems for clinical management and engagement systems to enhance care quality, exemplified by initiatives like “Phoenix. ”

What you’ll be doing:

• Influencing the team’s roadmap by identifying
  - impact ML initiatives.
• Partnering with stakeholders to scope initiatives, understand pain points, and define requirements.
• Supporting execution and iteration by collaborating with Engineering, Product, Clinical, and Operations teams.
• Representing ML solutions through releases, communication, feedback collection, and troubleshooting.
• Deep-diving into topics to ensure AI compatibility and bring relevant context.
• Preemptively identifying risks and finding balanced solutions for blockers.

What you need to have:

• 2+ years as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer with exposure to Product, or 2+ years as a Product Owner/Technical Product Manager in AI products.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience in
  - grade ML/DS projects from conception to maintenance.
• Ability to understand downstream implications of ML/DS topics.
• Strong communication skills for technical and
  - technical stakeholders.
• Critical thinking and strategic disagreement skills.
• Autonomy and
  - direction with limited supervision.
• Curiosity about AI techniques and business problems.

Preferred:

• Experience in
  - paced environments and wearing multiple hats.
• Experience with Big
  Query, Looker, and Python data stack.
• Proactive in proposing process improvements.
