What you’ll be doing:

1. Influencing the team’s roadmap by identifying opportunities for
   - impact ML initiatives;
2. Partnering with stakeholders to scope initiatives, assess solutions, define requirements, and plan approaches;
3. Supporting execution and iteration by collaborating with engineering, product, clinical, and operations teams;
4. Representing ML solutions at Sword: preparing releases, communicating changes, gathering feedback, troubleshooting;
5. Deep-diving into topics to ensure AI compatibility and relevant context;
6. Addressing risks, ambiguities, future needs, and blockers with balanced solutions.

What you need to have:

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist and/or Machine Learning Engineer with product exposure OR 2+ years as a Product Owner/Manager of a highly technical AI product;
• Working knowledge of SQL;
• Experience in
  - grade ML/DS projects from ideation to maintenance;
• Ability to exercise sound judgment on ML/DS topics;
• Strong communication skills for technical and
  - technical stakeholders;
• Critical thinking and strategic disagreement skills;
• Autonomy and
  - direction with limited supervision;
• Curiosity and intuition about AI techniques and business problems.

Preferred experience:

• Fast-paced environment adaptability;
• Experience with Big
  Query and Looker;
• Experience with Python data stack;
• Proactive process improvement mindset.
