Through Shakers, we are looking for a freelance AI Researcher for a project with a
- growing healthtech company that’s building an AI-powered platform to simplify clinical documentation through
- time, intelligent transcription and note generation. Their mission is to make healthcare workflows faster, smarter, and more human.

What You’ll Do

• Design and test new AI architectures and workflows (e. g. transcription → generation → feedback).
• Connect and optimize different LLM-based systems using Lang
  Chain / Lang
  Graph / Lang
  Smith .
• Implement integrations via Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar frameworks.
• Run structured experiments with clear evaluation metrics using Weights & Biases / MLflow .
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to move prototypes into production.

Tech Stack

Python (async programming) - Hugging Face Transformers - Scikit-learn - Open
AI / Anthropic APIs - Tavily or similar - Pydantic / JSON Schema - Docker

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with Python and multimodal or LLM-based systems .
• Strong ability to structure complex workflows and think
  - wide.
• Knowledge of real-time systems .
• MSc or Ph
  D in AI / Data Science / related field .
• (Nice to have) Published research in AI or ML journals.
