Within the AI Service of the Data Intelligent & Automation Value Center, our mission is to architect and deliver transformative AI solutions that empower Siemens to become a truly data‑driven organization.

Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

• Design and implement end‑to‑end AI solution architectures (Classic ML, Gen
  AI, and Agentic AI) ensuring scalability, security, compliance, and cost optimization.
• Define AI Solution architectures leveraging Azure AI Services or AWS AI/ML stack, and related ecosystem tools.
• Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise systems and workflows using APIs, microservices, and containerized deployments.

Technical Leadership & Dev
Ops Guidance

• Provide technical leadership and best practices to Dev
  Ops and MLOps teams for deploying and monitoring AI workloads.
• Oversee automation pipelines (CI/CD) for data and model lifecycle management.
• Guide the use of Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Ia
  C) tools like Terraform, ARM, or Cloud
  Formation for AI environments.

Hands‑on Development & Data Science

• Develop proof‑of‑concepts and prototypes for AI/ML models and generative applications (e. g. , LLMs, RAG systems, autonomous agents).
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to prepare data, train models, and optimize performance.
• Evaluate and fine‑tune pre‑trained models using domain‑specific data.

Consulting & Stakeholder Communication

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business‑oriented language for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and IT architects to align AI initiatives with business strategy.
• Conduct workshops, presentations, and demos to communicate AI solution value and feasibility.

Governance & Best Practices

• Ensure compliance with ethical AI principles, data privacy regulations, and corporate standards.
• Contribute to the development of internal AI frameworks, design patterns, and reusable components.
• Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and cloud services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in roles such as solution architecture, AI/ML, data science, or software architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with Classic Machine Learning & Deep Learning frameworks (Tensor
  Flow, Py
  Torch, Scikit‑learn).
• Experience with Generative AI & Large Language Models (Open
  AI, Anthropic, Hugging
  Face, Azure Open
  AI Service).
• Experience with multi‑agent orchestration frameworks (Lang
  Chain, Semantic Kernel, Crew
  AI).
• Familiarity with Cloud AI/ML platform services (Azure Machine Learning, AWS Sage
  Maker, Bedrock, Open
  AI Service).
• Expertise in MLOps, Dev
  Ops, and CI/CD pipelines for AI deployment.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and relevant scripting languages.
• Optional: Agility architecture certifications (SAFe Architect, TOGAF Agile) or Cloud AI/ML certifications (Azure AI Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
• Experience with vector databases, prompt engineering, and RAG systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of responsible AI frameworks and governance practices.
