AML L2 Trainee
About The Job
The AML L2 Trainee will support the AML L2 Compliance teams by performing initial tasks within AML investigations. These tasks serve as the first steps of a more detailed investigation conducted by Officers and Senior Officers.
Your Main Activities Are
- Investigate alerts escalated by AML L1 efficiently, prioritizing by date or risk category, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather relevant information.
- Conduct desktop research on data such as KYC, payment details, account activity, and client background to assess risks.
- Write clear and concise investigation reports that logically present the assessment, conclusions, and evidence linking findings.
- Stay informed on global and local developments to make informed assessments regarding potential financial crimes.
- Participate in team discussions and contribute to process and tool improvements by identifying inefficiencies and sharing best practices.
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Economics, Management, Finance, or related fields.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Attention to detail and rigor.
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Decision-making capabilities.
