We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer with strong experience in BDD, Java , and a solid understanding of the banking/financial domain.

You will join an international team, collaborate with developers, manual testers, and business analysts, and help ensure the quality of a critical financial platform.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks.

Automate existing tests and write new ones according to company standards.

Enhance and maintain CI/CD workflows related to testing.

Prepare, execute, and report test campaigns.

Verify, track, and analyze bugs until resolution ( Jira ).

Track and report the status of automation test suites.

Work closely with QA, development, and business teams to understand the business domain.

Use approved automation frameworks in a
- paced Agile environment.

Required Skills - Technical

2+ years of experience as a SDET / QA Automation Engineer.

Strong mastery of Gherkin & BDD.

Proficient in Java for automated testing.

Experience in web application testing.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins).

Knowledge of Git, Jira, and test management tools.

Competence in SQL / No
SQL databases.

Fluent in English and French.

Portuguese fluency is a plus.

Bonus Skills

Advanced CI/CD or Kubernetes experience.

ISTQB certification.

Knowledge of SWIFT standards ( ISO15022 / 20022 ).

Risk management concepts: SPAN / Va
R.

Financial Knowledge (Highly Valued)

Understanding of financial instruments : stocks, bonds, derivatives, ETFs.

Knowledge of settlement & clearing (pre-trade,
- exchange, OTC).

Familiarity with market participants: CCP, CSD, brokers, custodians.

Understanding of settlement cycles: match, affirm, settle, deliver.

Organization
